إن جمعية رعاية وتأهيل المعاقين حركيا تشعر بالأسف والحزن لما وصلت إليه الأوضاع في اليمن و تفاقم الوضع الإنساني والمعيشي لقطاعات واسعة من الشعب اليمني جراء الحرب الدائرة حاليا منذ أكثر من شهرين الأمر الذي أدى إلى سقوط الكثير من القتلى والجرحى مخلفاً الكثير من الإعاقات التي زادت من الأعباء الملقاة على عاتق جمعية رعاية وتأهيل المعاقين حركيا وكذلك أدى إلى تشريد الكثير من الأسر اليمنية وفيه تحولت اليمن إلى مشروع كارثة إنسانية تمس جميع فئات المجتمع وعلى وجه الخصوص الاشخاص ذوي الإعاقة من جراء الوضع المأساوي لهذه الحرب التي آثرت وبشكل أساسي على الاشخاص ذوي الاعاقة نظرا للعوائق والظروف البيئية جراء هذه الازمة ما جعلهم أكثر معاناه من غيرهم وبخاصة في توفير الحد الأدنى من متطلبات الحياة الاساسية الامر الذي يتنافى مع كل قيم ومواثيق العالم وبخاصة المواثيق الانسانية ومنها الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية وتعزيز حقوق الاشخاص ذوي الاعاقة والتي صادقت عليها اليمن عام 2008 م، والتي تؤكد على اتخاذ كافة التدابير اللازمة لضمان حماية وسلامة الأشخاص ذوي الاعاقة المتواجدون في مناطق تتسم بالخطورة.
إن الجمعية وفي إطار استشعارها للمسئولية تجاه هذا الوطن وفي إطار دورها الإنساني على مدار تاريخها الطويل تدعوا جميع الأطراف السياسية إلى تفهم طبيعة عمل الجمعية وبأنها تهتم بدرجة أساسية بالعمل الإنساني وتحاول من خلال الجهود التي تبذلها إلى أن تكون في طليعة المنظمات الإنسانية العاملة من أجل تلافي كارثة إنسانية وشيكة، وتدعوا جميع المنظمات الإغاثية والعمل الإنساني والحقوقي إلى الإسراع بالقيام بواجبهم والعمل جنبا إلى جنب مع جمعيتنا . إن جمعية رعاية وتأهيل المعاقين حركيا تؤمن بأن الوطن يتسع للجميع وبأن لغة السلام أقوى من لغة الحرب ومن منطلق إيمانها هذا فإنها تدعوا إلى الوقف الفوري لأعمال الحرب والنزاعات المسلحة وتؤكد على احترام حماية وسلامة الاشخاص ذوي الإعاقة من منطلق الاهتمام بإنسانية الإنسان.

Declaration
Association of care and rehabilitation of the physical disabled persons feel sorrow because of events in Yemen, which caused the worsening humanitarian situation and living of large groups of the Yemeni people due to the current war for more than two months, which led to the downfall of a lot of dead and wounded and that was caused a lot of disabilities, which increased the burden on the Association and also led to the displacement of many Yemeni families and Yemen is threatened to happen a humanitarian disaster affecting all people in particular persons with disabilities because of obstacles and environmental conditions due to this crisis , which made them suffer more than others, particularly in the provision of minimum basic requirements of life. This situation is contrary to all the values and international conventions and particularly humanitarian conventions such as the International Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which was approved by Yemen in 2008, which confirms to take all necessary precautions to ensure the protection and safety of persons with disabilities who live in areas of risk.
Among the responsibilities of the Association and humanitarian role throughout its long history, invite all political parties to understand the type of the work of the Association which is mainly in humanitarian work, through its efforts to be at the forefront of humanitarian organizations that are working to avoid an impending humanitarian catastrophe.
Accordingly, the Association invites all relief and labor and human rights organizations to carry out their duty to accelerate and work side by side with us.
The Association believes that the country can accommodate for all, and that the language of peace is stronger than the language of war, and as a result of our belief as we mentioned we call for the immediate cessation of the war and armed conflicts, and emphasize the necessity of respecting and protect persons with disabilities on the basis concern for human rights.
